The story
The geometric abstraction painted by Japanese artist Suiko adorns one of the walls in the centre of Čačak.
Suiko painted this mural as part of his series dedicated to the Hikari motif. The colours of the buildings in Čačak left a strong impression on the artist, and he wanted to incorporate that atmosphere into his work.

Suiko
Suiko is a Japanese graffiti artist born in 1979 in Oita and raised in Hiroshima, where he continues to live and work. His distinctive style combines influences from traditional Japanese calligraphy and ukiyo-e art with dynamic lines, geometric forms, and vibrant colours. He is known for his large-scale murals displayed around the world, as well as collaborations with international brands. Through his work, he explores movement, energy, and the relationship between art and the spaces in which it is created.
